J.L. Clark Legacy Foundation Supports Local Non-Profits Through Uniquely Difficult Year

February 23rd, 2021

The J.L. Clark Legacy Foundation supports charitable organizations whose efforts serve the public good and improve the quality of life in the community. In addition to financial support, J.L. Clark employees contribute in-kind donations and volunteer their time throughout the year. 2020 was a difficult year for many in the area that the JLC Legacy Foundation supports. The primary focus of the Foundation over the past year has been toward providing food, shelter and support to our community members in need. Grant checks were presented to the following organizations:

  • RAMP
  • Rockford Rescue Mission Ministries
  • Carpenter’s Place
  • Rock River Valley Pantry
  • Rock House Kids
  • Miss Carly’s

According to Mike DeVlieger, Legacy Foundation Board Member and Director of Sales for J.L. Clark, “The Legacy Foundation continues to serve the local community under the original charter written decades ago by our company founder, John Lewis Clark. As members of the Foundation Board, we are honored and privileged to be associated with and to support the individuals at these wonderful organizations. These are the people who do the hard work, every day to help enrich the lives of the members of our local community at large.  It is because of them that we remain committed to do our part.”
