Scott Novak joined JL Clark as the Vice President of Business Development & Marketing on June 6. He will be based in Rockford but will support all divisions.

Scott is a growth-focused commercial leader who will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic market opportunities for our business.  His responsibilities include strategy, business development and marketing.  Scott will partner with Mike DeVlieger and his sales team.  He has years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Strategy roles throughout his career, including Ecolab, Sonoco Products Company, Radiac Abrasives, and Carus LLC.

Scott will be focused on driving strategic growth into new customers and new markets.  Additionally, he will be responsible for managing our strategy and all marketing initiatives necessary to execute the strategy.  This includes trade shows, conferences, website, research, collateral, and product management.

Scott has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
